when earth was formed it was day or night

i am not confident but still as a helping mate i think that the part not facing the sun might be formed in night and one facing the sun might be formed in the day light cuz what it seemed to be said that the temperature of the earth was too high but the universe light seemed not enough just  indeed to the sun though so. hope it helps you mate..

This questions is tricky but Earth was not formed in a day it has taken millions of years for it's formation so it was neither night not day or 50 % day and 50 % night
