The National Kisan Diwas i.s. The National Farmers' Day is celebrated every year on 23rd December. It is celebrated in the memory of our honourable former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh.
During the time, when he was holding his office, he introduced many reforms to reduce the grievances of Indian farmers and work for their upliftment.
He followed the famous slogan " Jai Javan; Jai Kisan ".
