Delhi Metro Rail Corporate was incorporated in 3 may 1995. The construction was started in 1st October 1998.
Its 1st section on the red line was inaugurated by Atal Bihari Vajpayee, in 24 Dec 2002.
It has 8color coded lines with 214 stations.
