When was the indian constitution completed ? why was it imposed on 26th january 1950?

the Indian constitution was completed on 26 November 1949 but it was enacted on 26 January 1950 because 26 January was an important date for as complete swaraj was declared the aim of Indian national Congress on 26 January 1930
therefore to mark the date constitution of India was enacted on 26 January 1950 which we today know as the republic day
