Question

When we immediately cool the heated can then it bend inwards from all sides
Why does this happen? Give suitable reason.

we know that heat expands and cool shrinks so if there is hot air inside the can then the hot air would expand inside but if we mix cold air immediately then it would shrink and hence this reaction would crush the can .
