When we sprinkle powder on carrom then which type of friction is reduced?

rIshavQ: and yeah sliding friction is reduced too...you may know that to move any object static friction must be eliminated, its the strongest frictional force

HEY FRIEND, YOUR ANSWER IS,

We generally Sprinkle a little talcum powder on a carrom board BECAUSE it reduces the force of friction which is the static friction in this case, between the striker and the board of carrom. it allows the striker to move freely and swiftly and can slide from each other.
