It is seen in the Ribosome.....

Ribosome-Centre of protein synthesis in the cell
Seen either attached to the endoplasmic reticulum or free in the cytoplasm...

proteins are synthesised in ribosome which is in the cytoplasm . in the cells proteins are synthesised from RNA( ribonucleic acid).
 RNA is produced in the nucleus, then sent to the ribosome to be broken down into amino acids, or proteins.
