Morula is defined as a 16-cells containing early-stage embryo that formed fron zygote by mitotic division. It looks like a solid ball, which is contained in zona pellucida (plasma membrane of oocyte). In humans, morula is formed at fallopian tube, after 3-4 days of fertilization. After implantation, it is developed into blastocyst that forms embryo.
