The Potato was first found in the region of southern Peru and extreme Northwestern Bolivia between 8000 and 5000 BCE.

It is largely used in coastal side of Ancon central Peru and people are verified potato has tuber remains and earlier used in the cooking process.

Later, it is found in South America which is an Austere region.
