The body temperature can be measured by keeping the thermometer at some other place than the mouth:

1. We can use temperatures by placing thermometer under arms..
 2. For Infants, doctors uses thermometer near ear to measure temperature.
3. On fore head of person where thermometer is kept to record temperature.

skylarnoel: The insulin used to treat people with diabetes is commonly produced by inserting the DNA sequence for human insulin into a bacterium. The insulin the bacterium produces using that sequence is then harvested. In fact, DNA sequences from virtually any living organism could be inserted into a bacterium and the bacterium would be able to use the sequences to make the same proteins that the original organism did. In what way does this provide evidence for evolution?
skylarnoel: sorry mistake...
skylarnoel: No, I'm not in that class, but thank you so much for the information! Have a great day! :)

Yes, my mom usually places the thermometer under my arms rather than my mouth, but depending on the type of thermometer, you can also place it in your ear, or on your temples. Hope this helps! :)
