silk is called as queen of textile because it is most beautiful of all textile fibres so it is called as queen of textiles and also it comes from the cocoon of silk warm and requires handling with great precision which makes it one of the expensive and popular fibre

Silk is called the Queen of textile because it is the most expensive fibre .It takes a long process for manufacturing.silk is made from silkworm.
