Guru Gobind Singh was the tenth Guru of the Sikhs and was a son of Guru Teg Bahadur. He was born on 5th January, 1666 in Patna where he spent five years of his childhood and did his early schooling.
In his childhood, he studied religious scriptures and also taught Bihari, Hindi, Gurumukhi, and Marathi languages. He learnt the art of swordsmanship and archery.
