We got our independence in the 15th August,1947 from the British rulers. They ruled us for almost 200 years. At that time period they occupied almost the total Indian region.Including the Bombay city(Mumbai nowadays).

Bombay presidency was an important part of the British Indian government. This presidency controlled several outside regions at that time.Aden gulf city was one of those outside regions which was ruled by the Bombay presidency under the British supremacy.
