While spending a day on the beach, there may be a significant drop in temperature at noon, because cold air starts to get out of the water.

Because The land absorbs heat more fastly as compare to the water, so the hot air on the land rises upward, and is displaced by the heavier, cooler air coming from over the sea. This air is known as "sea breeze", which is in response to the differences in temperature between water and neighboring land.

Answer:

This is a reference to the land and sea breezes during day and night time. Sea breezes occur during hot and extremely summer temperature.

During daytime, the land gets heated up very fast when compared to the sea.

The air above the land gets warmer and the cool air from above the sea rush in to take the place. Warm air rises and goes to take the place of the sea air.
