Lok Sabha is the powerful house as all bills of the government first go there and veet rare bills goes to rajya Sabha and because of this reason Lok Sabha is the powerful house.

Parliament of India comprises t of two houses: Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. Lok Sabha has  more power compared to  Rajya Sabha because of the following status :

I) It contains more members than the members of  Rajya Sabha.

II) In case of law needs to be passed by both the houses, but there is a difference in operation between the two the final decision is taken by a  joint session of both the houses. Since Lok Sabha has a larger number of members, the view of the Lok Sabha is given preference.

III) Lok Sabha can execute more power in any money matter. Once the Lok Sabha passes the budget of the government, the Rajya Sabha has no power to reject it.

IV) The Lok Sabha is able to control the cabinet ministers. A person who enjoys the support of the majority of the Lok Sabha members is appointed as Prime Minister.
