There are more number of producers for example grass because they are autotrophic they can produce their own food by the process of photosynthesis they don't depend on the other organisms for their food so that's why their quantity is more in our environment. moreover they provide food to the other trophic levels like herbivores carnivores and human beings so that's why their quantity is more
