which is better method of separation decantation or filtration give reasons for your answer​

There is a bit difference between them two. The similarity is that the solid particles are seperated from liquid using water in both methods, but the difference is that in Decantation the solid particles in water simply settles down at the bottom and remaining liquid seperate from the water by going upwards we can pour that water in other container afterwards. In filtration the water is poured in an sieve to seperate solid particles.

Both methods are simple you can use any of them two.
