It's hard to say which plastid occurs more widely but the Chloroplast is found in the plant cell and chromoplast occurs in the animal cells. The chloroplast reflects green light and absorbs others whereas the chromoplast can reflect any colour and absorb the others depending on the pigmentation. Chloroplast occurs widely as the number of plants are more than the number of humans and animals.
