Very dilute (about 1%) Nitric Acid reacts with Magnesium and Manganese at room Temperature to give their nitrates and hydrogen gas.
Mg + 2 HNO3 -> Mg (NO3)2 + H2
(Magnesium) ( V. dilute) (hydrogen)
