The South Atlantic gets saltier and the excess freshwater is carried into the Indian and ultimately to the Pacific Ocean by the Antarctic Circumpolar Current.

The pond which contains highest amount of salinity in its water is Don Juan Pond which looks very small and very shallow hypersaline lake located in Antarctica and the salinity ranges to about 44%. Due to this salination level the pond does not freeze even though it is on the coldest places of the Earth. Lake Vanda in the same place possess salinity level of 35%. There are many other saline bodies of water they are Dead sea- shared between Israel, Jordan and Palestine; Great salt lake, Mono lake, and Salton Sea in the US, and Europe’s Baltic Sea.
