We know the lens formula

          1/v - 1/u = 1/f        

Therefore,

                     1/v = 1/f + 1/u              

Remember for concave lens the u and v will be ''-ve''  

So obviously, the image will be virtual.

    Mirror formula      ,

             1/v + 1/u = 1/f      

        = 1/v = 1/f - 1/u      

So, v will be +ve and u will be -ve.
