b) Bacteria, fungi and plants have cell walls.

1. The bacterial cell wall is a complex made up of peptidoglycan which protects the bacteria.

2. In fungi the cell wall is present and is made up of chitin and complex polysaccharides.

3. In plant cells cell wall is present and its made up of cellulose and pectin. This also helps in in maintenance of turgidity and protection.

4. In animal cells cell wall is absent.
