Na₂CO₃.10H₂O [ Sodium Carbonate decahydrate] , can be called as an aqueous solution of washing soda/Sodium Carbonate [ Na₂CO₃ ].
In Na₂CO₃.10H₂O , '10.H₂O' represents that Sodium Carbonate is hydrated/crysrallized with water. It also shows that 10 water molecules are trapped in the lattice structure of Sodium Carbonate.
Some Extra Information :-
When baking soda/Sodium bi-carbonate is heated, we obtain Sodium Carbonate.
The balanced chemical reaction is :-
2NaHCO₃ → Na₂CO₃ + H₂O + CO₂
After, that Sodium Carbonate is crystallized by adding water to get Sodium Carbonate decahydrate [Na2CO3.10H2O] :-
Na₂CO₃ + 10H₂O → Na₂CO₃.10H₂O
