we get ( 4 + 4 ) / ( 4 - 4 )

= 8 / 0

for a number to be rational number, it has to be in p / q form where p and q are integers and q \neq

= 0

here p = 8 which is integer

q = 0 which is also integer

but q = 0

so it is not rational

so d) n+4/n-4 is not rational
