“The purpose of the guarantee or free trial is to deter the reader from personally checking the product and comparing it with competing items..” is not true.

When given free trial, the customer is likely to check with the competitor’s products and before the trial period could get over, would certainly change the product.

Guarantee, will help the customer to buy but that alone doesn’t lead a customer to buy.
