The correct option is iii) is an intensive property and ΔG is an extensive property.
Intensive and extensive property
- An intensive property is a mass property, implying that a property of a system doesn't rely upon the system size or how much material is in the framework.
- An extensive property is a property that changes when the size of the example changes. Extensive properties are the properties which rely on the amount of the matter contained in the framework, e.g., mass, volume, Gibbs free energy, and so forth.
- Escalated properties are the properties which rely just on the idea of the substance and are free of how much the substance is present in the framework, e.g., heat, edge of boiling over, emf of a cell, etc.
ΔG=−nF
In the above condition, the free energy condition is reliant upon the measure of material of the framework while cathode potential is autonomous on a measure of the framework.
Thus, the correct option is iii) is an intensive property and ΔG is an extensive property.
