Which of these polynomials will make the following equation true?


(3x2 - 7x + 2) + ? = 2x2 -10x + 3

Verification:-

putting value of ? as -x - 3x + 1 in the given equation..

=> 3x2 - 7x + 2 + (-x2 - 3x + 1) = 2x2 - 10x + 3

=> 3x2 - 7x + 2 - x2 - 3x + 1 = 2x2 -10x + 3

Arranging them in like terms..

=> 3x2 - x2 - 7x - 3x + 2 + 1 = 2x2 -10x + 3

=> 2x2 - 10x + 3 = 2x2 - 10x + 3
