Which one is more electronegative chlorine or oxygen and why?

Answer:

oxyzen is more electronegative than chlorine

Explanation:

because ,although when we move toward right of periodic table , electronegativity increases ..,but since the size of chlorine is larger , the electron are farther from nucleus in chlorine than they are in oxygen
