The organelle that is called the “director of the cell” is the nucleus.

The nucleus contains the nucleic acid which is the prime requirement of driving and directing life. The nucleic acid transcribes to RNA which then translates to the protein.

This protein that is produced in the endoplasmic reticulum with respect to the mRNA that is got from the nucleus drives the entire machinery of a cell for its functions.
