Tyndall effect is is responsible for making the path of light visible.
It was introduced by Willis Tyndall and called as Willis-Tyndall scattering. This effect is experienced well in sunlight. “The Tyndall effect” is seen when light scattering “particulate matter” is dispersed to an otherwise “light transmitting medium". They are seen in 40 to 900 nm wavelength that is below and near the wavelength of visible light.
