The simple food prepared first by the process of ‘photosynthesis’ is glucose.
“Photosynthesis” is the process of “green plants” containing chlorophyll produce its own food for energy in the form of glucose and oxygen as a by-product in the presence of photons of light (from sun or any artificial source of light), ‘carbon dioxide’ from the atmosphere and “water and minerals” from the soil.
A part of the glucose formed is stored in the form of ‘starch’ and not entirely used up for energy or other life processes.
