Hard disks have the highest storage capacity compared to all the others.

  • Pendrive: a Pendrive is the most commonly used flash memory device in this era. The feature that makes it most useful is its portability and how the enormous amount of data it can store within.it is a plug-and-play flash drive.
  • Hard disk: HDD i.e. hard disk drive is one of the other frequently used storage devices. it is a non-volatile storage device i.e. it stores the data even when it's switched off. it is generally of two types, the internal hard disk that is placed inside our systems and the external hard drives.
  • CD: CD or compact disk drives are the formal storage units and had less storage compared to pen drives and hard disks. It storages information with the help of laser lighting or electromagnetic waves or even visible light spectrum to store the data.
