"Deoxyribonucleic acid is the ""genetic material"" in almost all organisms. It is ""found"" in the nucleolus of all cells and is a helical chain made up of nucleotides. Each ""nucleotide"" consists of a ""phosphate group"", ""deoxyribose sugar"", and a ""nitrogenous base"".

There are ""four types"" of bases in DNA namely adeninde, guanine, cytosine, and thymine. ""Adenine"" forms ""two hydrogen bonds"" with ""thymine"" and ""cytosine"" forms ""three hydrogen bonds"" with ""guanine"" and these are called as base pairs.
