The Geometric Progression is given as
The term can said to be
Where,
and sum is given as
(i) 2, 8, 32, ..... is 512
a=2 and r = 4
Hence in GP
(ii) 3, 3, 3 3 ...... is 729
a=3 ,r=1 Hence in GP
(iii)1/3, 1/9, 1/27, ..... is 1/2187
a= 1/3, r=1/3
Hence in GP.
Hope it helps
Thanks
