HOLA friend!!
Rajdeep here....

The soil which is rich in LIMCAP, i.e., Lime, Iron, Magnesium Carbonate, Alumina and Potash is Black soil or Regur soil or Lava Soil.

Black soil is of volcanic origin, and is formed of weathering of LAVA rocks.

Lava rocks are most concentrated in the Deccan trap of India, so black soil is found in the Deccan trap, i.e., in the states of Maharastra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

Black soil has clay content and a high moisture-retentive capacity, which helps in airation of the plants.

Cotton and sugarcane are best grown in this soil.

The colour of black soil extends from black to chest nut brown to yellowish red.

Hope my answer is satisfactory...

The Black Cotton or the Regur Soils are made up of extremely fine i.e clayey material. They are well known for their capacity to hold moisture. They are rich in nutrients, such as Calcium carbonate, Magnesium, potash and lime. These soils are generally poor in phosphoric contents. They develop cracks in the hot weather, which helps in the proper aeration of the soils. These soils are sticky when wet, and difficult to work on, unless tilled immediately after the first shower or during the pre-monsoon period...
