Thankyou for asking this question.

The type of soil which is used in making cups and saucers is clay soil.

The reason why this is used is because of its easy mold-able texture. It becomes instantly hard after a while preventing any breakage. These are also considered healthier due to the hygienic properties the soil holds.

I hope my answer is helpful. If you have any further queries please feel free to ask.

Thank you for asking this question, here is your answer.

Clayey soil is utilized for making cup and saucer as we know that clayey soil is firmly packed, they don't have any space among them and size of the dirt particles is little.

That is the reason this sort of soil is utilized for making pots, to cup and saucer and so on.

They can hold water for a significant lot of time.
