There are many undesirable customs prevailing in the society such as dowry, caste discrimination, female foeticide, racism, etc., which are not healthy for people and society.

Though many laws has been enforeced to eradicate these customs, some parts of society are still addicted to it.

The only solution to eradicate these customs is to educate each and every people, so that they can understand the value of life and treat each other as human beings, not as materials

Explanation:

1. Dowry

Dowry is a tradition not of one nation but of all across the globe. The system is not a single nation. • All grooms must stand up &  refuse to accept  dowry. Boys must convince parents not to take or to give dowry. They should have the confidence to make your living. They should make a easy marriage without extra costs and show.
  • The government must strictly implement the law on duty. The dowry ban act is still now in every county, but people don't obey it because it is not strictly enforced. For certain nations, giving and accepting dowry is unlawful and punishable. The government must amend the law to define the amount of marriage expenses, locate the culprit to prosecute him and very quickly settle dowry cases so that the culprit is thrown into jail.
  • Community literacy programs will also motivate people to understand to relieve themselves of this tradition of dowry. It's the product of knowledge that people have begun to marry simple, unfeigned marriages.

The awareness that holding a child itself, whether a girl or a baby, is a sign of strength should be raised.
  • The govt must penalise such customs with severe to very severe punishments and can bring in place many laws, shame, acts  favouring Girl Education, women's right, equal property share for a daughter, and other schemes for girl child.

  • The importance of child marriage on "international & national" development agendas has grown in the past years. Now, we have a rare opportunity to take measures and step up our initiatives to ensure transform the lives of girls and young women around the world

4. Untouchability

Untouchability  is the practice of ostracising a minority group by separating it from the general public by  social custom or legal mandate. Despite it being banned, there are millions of people who are still treated as untouchable

  • Education is the only way to eliminate untouchability, efforts are required to disseminate knowledge to those who are  affected. In addition, provisions for the spread of general and technical education amongst marginalised students must be made by the govt. They must be provided with special opportunities in the form of grants, free hostel, books, paperwork.
  • There is always a poor financial state of the untouchables. So long so their financial status remains unchanged, the "untouchable" upliftment will remain a religious dream. In order to develop themselves, they must then be given vocational training to various crafts and technological skills & financially supported to start small-scales & cottage industries.
  • The govt must offer as much employment as possible to improve the living standard of the marginalised  & other backward classes. Reservations of vacancies for the marginalised and backward class in all industrial enterprises must be made in addition to government services.
  • Caste system is the underlying cause of its origin! The abolishment of the caste system is very important to eradicate the untouchability. To eradicate this issue, public awareness is important.
