Mineral salts are translocated through phloem in the cell. Xylem tissue helps in the flowing of water.

The phloem plays a "major role" in metabolic activity of the plants.

It is the "innermost layer" present in the plant so, the soluble organic minerals produced during photosynthesis is transferred to all the parts of the plants through phloem.

Phloem contains sieve cells and parenchyma cells which help for translocation.
