which would be the heart rate of a person if cardiac output is 5l ,blood volume in the ventricles at the end of diastole is 100ml and at end of ventricular systole is 50ml.

End diastolic Volume(EDV) = 100mL

End systolic volume(ESV) = 50mL

Stroke volume (SV) = EDV - ESV

=100-50 = 50mL

Cardiac output (CO) = HR × SV

so, HR = co÷sv = 5000mL÷50mL = 100 bpm
