let the required speed =X(km/hr)
speed(km/hr) =50   X
time(min)       =90  75

      as it is inverse variation
         Xx75=50x90
         X=50x90 divided by 75
         X=60
sothe required speed = 60 km / hr

Convert time to hours:

1 hour 30 mins = 1.5 hours

Find the distance:

Distance = Speed x Time

Distance = 50 x 1.5 = 75 km

Find the speed when he is late:

15 mins = 0.25 hour

Time needed = 1.5 - 0.25 = 1.25 hour

Speed = Distance ÷ Time

Speed = 75 ÷ 1.25 = 60 km/h

Answer: The total distance is 75 km and the speed is 60 km/h
