Mughals were descendants of two famous lineages

the Mongols and the Timur.

However Mughals didn't want to be mughals or Mongols as Genghis Khan's memory was associated with numerous deaths . on the other side Mughals were proud of Timur dynasty

Mughals were the Muslim dynasty that ruled Delhi and other parts of India from 1526-1857. Babur was the founder of Mughal Dynasty. Mughal empire was formed after the first battle of Panipat where Babur defeated Ibrahim Lodi to form this empire..

According to me Mughals were neither great rulers nor were they secularists. They were often too busy to manage their empire. Hindus suffered the most under Mughal Rule. But it wasn't alone Hindus who suffered under Mughals but Muslim too suffered...
