The construction of the Qutub Minar was started by Qitub-ud-Din Aibak, but he only constructed the basement.

Qitub-ud-Din Aibak.. built the Qutub Minar.
But he only built the base.
Iltutmish and Firoz Shah Tuglak continued the next work....
