Hi Nikki  Dear ^^"
___________________________________________________________
@cell is discovered by Robert Hook in 1665
@ Robert brown Discovered nucleus in cell of orchid root in 1831
@ The theory was forward by schleiden and Schwann (1839)
M.J Schleiden (1804-1881) was a German botanists who said .that
I) All plants are made up of cells
II) Cells are unit of structures of all plant tissues.
III) Each  cell has a broadly similar structure of cell wall ,nucleus  and surrounding jelly.
Theodore Schwann (1810-1882)was a German zoologists who found that animal cell were made of different kind of cells and lack of cell wall.
he proposed cell hypothesis that bodies of plants and animals  composed of cells.
The theory was not clear about origin of cells
Rudolf Virchow (1855) conclusively proved that new cells arise from a ore existing cell . through the process of division - Omnis  cellula  e cellula.
Protoplasm
was discovered in 1839 by J.E purkinje

Dead cell was first observed by Robert Hooke in 1665.

Living cell was first observed by Anton von Leeuwenhoek in 1674.

Nucleus of cell was discovered by Robert Brown in 1831.

Mj Schleiden in 1838 and Theodore schwann in 1839 proposed the cell theory which states that the basic structural and functional unit of all plants and animals is cell.

Rudolf Virchow in 1858 extended the cell theory proposed that all cells are formed from pre existing cell.

In 1839 Purkinje give the term protoplasm for the jelly like semi fluid material of the cell
