John Kemp Starley

John Kemp Starley was born on 14th of December, 1854 at Walthamstow, London in England. He was an English inventor and is the person who invented bicycle. His father was a gardener, named John Starley. His mother's name was Mary Ann. In 1877, he started developing cycles with better safety and comforts. In the same year, he started his own company which was popularly named Starley & Sutton Co. One of the advertisements of his company is given in the picture attached.
