Mahatma Gandhi,also known as Bapu,is 'Father of our Nation'.He was born on 2 October 1896 at Porbander in Gujarat.He lived a very simple life.He used to wear Khadi clothes and a slipper made of wood(Khadau).He studied law at London.He performed a very great role during our National Movements for freedom.He started so much revolutions,such as Civil Disobedience Movement,Satyagrah Andolan,etc.This great leader of our country was shot on 30January 1948 by Nathuram Godse.
