Answer: Teacher.

Explanation:Okay, parents help children prepare for their exams and everything,but it is a teacher who explains a topic to you first and always ask you if you did not understand it . It is a teacher's job to explain us about a particular  topic without  missing any important point.  And so a teacher is responsible for a student's  academic success . However parents can , of course claim some credit in it . It is their right after all !
