BENJAMIN FRANKLIN was the father of civics.
He was born on 17 January, 1706 in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. He was one of the founding fathers of the United States. He was a scientist, inventor, politician, diplomat etc. He invented Franklin Stove, Armonica, Bifocals, Rocking chair , etc. He founded a weekly newspaper ,’The New England Courant’ in 1721.In 1748 he became member of Philadelphia's City Council. In 1787, he was elected to represent Pennsylvania at the constitutional convention. He died on April 17, 1790, in Philadelphia Pennsylvania at the home of his daughter. In 1900 ,he got Hall of Fame for great Americans.
