★  John Dalton:

John Dalton(1766 - 1844)  was the first scientist who worked out that everything was made of atoms. Dalton finds out that water particles could mix.

Dalton then had the idea that everything is made up of particles that could not be broken down into anything smaller. He called these particles as "Atoms".

Dalton also thought that different atoms had different weights and did experiments to prove it.

★  More to know:-

Joseph John (JJ) Thompson:

Joseph John (JJ) Thompson(1856 - 1940) had the idea that was the particles even smaller than an atom. He also invents the Atomic model. That is called Thompson's atomic model.
