This happened when I was in my 6th standard. My English teacher was fond of me (as I was the class topper). So he prepared a speech for me and asked me to deliver it in the assembly. He gave me 2 days time. I by-hearted it very well and I also made some improvements my self.
Finally the day came. My speech was scheduled after the daily news. I went up to the mike and started delivering the speech. Everything was going well until then. But suddenly my mind went blank. After 5 secs, I realized that I wasn't speaking anything when I saw faces staring at me blankly. My English teacher called me, encouraged me, prepared me and sent me again.
After that, I successfully delivered the speech. I was relieved to hear claps. I know I spoiled the speech but anyways I did it anyway.

Quintilian (c. 35-95 CE) argued that public speaking was inherently moral. He stated that the ideal orator is “a good man speaking well” .
