1.they don't pay taxes

2.they collect taxes directly or indirectly

3.they have almost half of the land of the country

4.peasants work for them for free

5.they can take away land of the peasants

clergy(related to church) and nobles were the privileged classes

clergy had given a form of tax ti third estate called tithe

while novels had given a tax called taille . they had also given off many indirect taxes on third estate

moreover they enjoyed certain privileges on land and property. They were also independent from giving taxes . In chapter it was also given that each class had given 300 representatives but the third estate had 600 representatives yet third estate had 1 vote. So they also enjoyed rule over others
